The next town inland from Oakville with access to the spectacular Lake Ontario is minutes away. A residential neighborhood spread out and has a rural feel due to the high number of conservation parks in the area.

Sixteen Mile Creek runs through town, offering residents high-end homes with views of the water in a serene setting. Professionals commuting into the larger cities of Toronto or Hamilton can catch the train at Milton Station. Those that prefer to drive can reach Toronto in about 45-minutes.

Milton is one of the fastest-growing communities in Canada, so it should come as no surprise that there are many activities in which residents can participate. There are five large Conservation Parks for locals to explore the beautiful green spaces. They are Rattlesnake PointHilton FallsCrawford LakeMountsberg, and Kelso. Hiking or biking on the many trails, fishing, bird watching, and picnicking are some fun recreational interests to pursue. Notable courses that any avid golfer would enjoy playing on are the private Rattlesnake Point Golf Club,Trafalgar Golf & Country Club, and Greystone Golf Club. Members can make use of the clubhouses, excellent dining, and social connections.

Each spring and summer, Springridge Farm welcomes locals to stop by the 19th-century barn with selections of fresh produce, baked goods, preserves, and gifts. The beauty and delightful scents of lavender will greet you as you step foot onto Terre Bleu Lavender Farm in the summer months. Take a tour of the lavender fields and learn how lavender is distilled to create several products such as essential oil, soaps, and lotions.
